New China has been serving the McHenry County area for the past 44 years with original recipes that date back to the 1960's. Grandpa Gee started in Chicago under the name "Young Sing" on the corner of Clark and Diversy. Then moved business to Skokie for 10 years, using the name "Ah Fong". In the year 1975, the Gee Family opened New China Restaurant in Fox River Grove. The original egg roll recipe remains unchanged for 50 years of service. Our signature dishes at our current location define the restaurant because of the quality and consistency of the taste. The cooking has stayed in the family for 50 years, and the original recipes will continue to grow the family legacy for many years.
